Travel & stay

Getting there

Traveling by plane

Recommended airport: Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN).

Getting from the airport to the city:

  • Taxi: ~20–30 minutes to the city centre

  • Aerobús: Direct shuttle to Plaça de Catalunya

Please note our wedding is taking place in a high season period. We recommend buying your plane tickets in advance.

Traveling by train

Barcelona is also easily reachable by train within Europe. From cities like Brussels and Amsterdam you can take a high-speed train (Eurostar) to Paris, and from there connect to a direct TGV to Barcelona Sants.

Wedding day transport

For everyone’s comfort and safety, we will arrange coach transport to and from the venue. Coaches will depart from and return to Carrer de Trafalfgar, 59, Eixample, 08010 Barcelona, near Arc de Triomf. Final departure times (both outbound and return) will be shared soon.

The venue is approximately a 1-hour drive from Barcelona, so we kindly ask everyone to be on time for a relaxed journey and a smooth start to the celebration.

Traveling by car

If you’re coming by car, no worries. Free parking is available at the wedding venue. Let us know if this is your plan.

As a reminder, address is Mas Casamitjana, Carrer Casamitjana, El Moianès, 08180 Moià, Barcelona, Spain.

Accommodation

Barcelona offers a wide range of accommodation options, from boutique hotels to apartments. We recommend staying within the city, as transport to and from the venue will be provided.

Stay in the city

We recommend following accommodations in Barcelona: Vincci Mae, Casa Bonay, The Hoxton and Pratik Bakery. Each of these hotels offers a slightly different atmosphere, while all being well located within the city.

Barcelona is very easy to navigate by taxi or public transport, so whichever option you choose, getting to and from the wedding weekend events will be simple. We suggest booking early, as September is a popular time of year in the city.

Stay in the countryside

Alternatively, if you would like to spend a romantic getaway in the Catalan countryside, plan a stay in Boutique Hotel Urbisol (20 minutes by car from the venue),  Hotel Món Sant Benet (35 min by car from the venue) or a very cozy Airbnb (15 min by car from the venue).

Please let us know if you are planning to stay around the venue and we’ll give you contact details of taxis around the area.
